the webmistressAbout Aimee
Hi there. My name is Aimee, and I really, really hate bright colours. Honestly.
I’m what you’d call a fish-hater, a music-obsessive, and a guitarist. I enjoy writing fictional stories about people being depressed and dying, and watching cartoons with animals getting blown up by ACME Dynamite. I’m the kind of person who would stand at the back of parties, lost, wondering what Bugs Bunny would do in my situation.
I am a sixteen-year-old student from Gloucestershire, UK, and I enjoy listening to music, playing guitar, photography and writing fiction for my own pleasure. At sixth-form I study Music, Art, Maths and English Literature A Level subjects, all of which I got B grades (or A grades, in English’s case) in at GCSE level. I hope one day to be a published author, with maybe a job in music production, radio broadcasting, or some kind of media editing, either in journalism or working with novelists. My favourite music genres are pop, rock and pop-punk (interpret them as you will) with my favourite bands being Holiday Parade, Green Day, blink-182, Elliot Minor and McFly. I also enjoy reading, and it’s thanks to Jodi Picoult’s books that I decided just how much I really would love to be a writer.
I have been doing website work for around four-five years now, from back in the days when Habbo was known as Habbo Hotel, Webs was known as Freewebs, Piczo was all the rage, and Neopets didn’t ever ask for money. I don’t know a massive amount of webdesign, and I am near enough completely self-taught, but I have always been intrigued by it enough to eventually get my own website, and in 2008, I did just that.

the siteAbout Forgotten-Twilight
It scares even me to know that Forgotten-Twilight.net was purchased on the 4th April 2008. I mean, it doesn’t even seem like yesterday when I first had the email from Site5 saying that everything was set up and ready to go. It’s friggin crazy, I tell ya.
Like everyone with a domain will tell you, my site was born with the aggression that sites like Freewebs and Piczo just wouldn’t support my needs. Although I had free hosting at the time from Rahenna at clavis-sama, I still wanted full control over everything to do with my website. So, after about a month of asking, I got what I wanted. And I still love it – the feeling of control, of being able to put whatever I want on my own private webspace. The only problem has been deciding what to fill 1500000 megabytes of space with.
Right now, this place hosts my blog. And that’s probably about it – no free paintbrushes, photos (yet), fonts, porn, smilies, mp3s, or website layouts. Everything I write here comes directly from me, and is for entertainment purposes only. And even the word ‘entertainment’ is cutting it thin, sometimes.
All I ask is that you enjoy my site. All I give is a promise that I’ll enjoy your site, too. That’s all.
