This hasn’t been my day.

  • I wake up feeling like crap at like, 3pm
  • My computer breaks and I only just manage to retrieve my stuff
  • I FIND OUT THAT TENNANT’S LEAVING DOCTOR WHO.

I mean, they could’ve prepared me for this. There I was, watching Family Guy, when the woman in the break said that he’d made the announcement at some kind of TV awards which I have no interest in. So now I’m really depressed.

Not literally. I kinda expected it. Why?

  • The whole Hamlet thing.
  • The whole 1 year break thing.
  • The whole threatened regeneration thing.
  • The whole rumours of David Morissey being the next Doctor thing.

I had a theory: the regeneration scene in The Stolen Earth would be a fake (which it was) and Ten would stay in his form using the severed hand in the jar. I WAS RIGHT. Then when they said that there was going to be a 1 year series break, and that he was going to play Hamlet, I just kinda figured that the four episodes they’re doing in 2009 would be his last. So, really, I’m not that damaged.

I am gonna miss him though. He made Doctor Who for me. None of the other series’ are at all appealing to me. A few of the episodes in the series before he came were quite good though, but that was down to the writer rather than the bloke who played The Doctor. (I’m on about The Doctor Dances/The Empty Child btw.. it was also down to John Barrowman that I like them so much, but mainly thanks to Steven Moffat’s amazingness). I can’t actually be bothered to watch any of the ones in the original series’, but that’s down to the very poor and laughable visual effects. =P

All I’m gonna say is: WE’LL MISS YOU SO GODDAMNED MUCH DT. And: I want all of his episodes on DVD for crimbo just in case the next Doctor is a load of crap. <3

I’m going to miss Tennant-Doctor too. :( Oh, those last few episodes were very exciting. ^^
