New Twilight poster:

If you’d never read the book (which you might not have) would you even DARE go see the film with THAT as the leading guy? Robbie, seriously, you look like a scary thing, not a dazzling piece of amazement like you did three years ago. =[ I don’t know who to blame; the photographer, Pattinson, or the guy who did the Photoshopping. The lion was meant to fall IN LOVE with the lamb, not take her hostage!

But, I am happy with his skin. Yes. That is what I call pale. Thank you. Exactly how I imagined. Better be like that in the film.

Kristen Stewart - if only your voice wasn’t so nasty, you might actually be amazing. <3

Bring on December 19th!!

1 Secret Told

WOW. I know I’m like a month late, but this has literally been the only time I’ve been able to see it. And I’m so glad I did. It was god damned brilliant. So many words can be used to describe it.. some include beautiful, heartbreaking, cute, wonderful, lush, amazing.. I didn’t think I’d like it as much as I did, but Hell, it was practically gorgeous.

So weird to watch, too. All the way through I had shivers going down my spine from having to watch what everything about the earth had turned into. The way it was full with garbage, and the way all those people were just so stupidly overweight and couldn’t walk a step due to their bones being unused for so long! Such a bizarre feeling yet it is quite likely to happen, if you think about it. Not for another thousand years, but still probable. I praise Pixar for being able to stick such a powerful message into such a great film.

And it definitely was cute. “WaaaaAAAAaaaall-eeeee” and “Eeeeeeevahhhh” just made my heart squirm. Eve didn’t hardly say anything except “Wall-E!” and likewise. I just wanted to pick them all up and hug them. Such a nice ending too! I’m still recovering from feeling like I just wanted to burst out crying.

If you still can and haven’t already, WATCH IT. Oh god, I thought Ratatouille was good. Although it’s not that right to put two completely different films up against each other.. I think Ratatouille is still my favourite, but Wall-E is going right up there with Toy Story. And it was hard enough choosing either Toy Story or Ratatouille as the best to start with!

I’m buzzing. =]

Anyone else who’s seen it, opinions?

Talk to me?

I’m starting to feel the school nerves already. Being away from home for a total of two weeks this summer has made me realise how quickly it’s all going. I mean, the holidays used to be like this amazing thing that we all loved because it was like, omgsixweeksoffschool!!!!11!!!2 But now it’s like, ack, only six weeks? Nuu!!

Yeah I was imprisoned at my grandparents house for EIGHT DAYS. THEY KEPT ME FOR EIGHT DAYS. I managed to get out of going dancing and attending church though, which was good, and I watched a total of two of my childhood Disney films that I ohso desperately wanted to see. I realised though that I think the Lion KIng 2 may be better than its prequel, and GusGus really is the best mouse ever (Cinderella). I realised also how quickly these people get married! It was like, glass slipper on, then next day they got married. The bloke didn’t even know her name! (Cinderelly!!) Haha, Disney’s just soo cute. Really. I was tempted to watch Beatrix Potter videos too, but didn’t have time. =/

I did alot of writing though, which brings me to mention this site I stumbled across while surfing Shelfari: WEbook. It’s like this place where writers go to share work, and eventually they can get it published. Knowing my luck the publishing part wont apply to me being a UK person (lets face it, America is probably the place in which these people reside) but still it looks fun. I haven’t read anyone’s work on there yet, but I can tell there’s going to be some real talent. I probably will join eventually, once I get my proper writing going again. Let me know if you do, or if any of you are already members. ^_^

And this random Disney Channel addict asked to be my friend on Shelfari. I was like, dude, I see you like Hannah Montana? xD

BAD NEWS. My mum didn’t like Twilight. LOL. She doesn’t see why Bella’s so amazingly attractive.. and I quote: “All I can find that makes her attractive is that she smells nice to these.. vampire people. I mean, why the hell did she just walk into school and suddenly everyone loves her? What is it about her?” She hasn’t read New Moon yet (haha, Jacob), but one of the things she said to me about Twilight (which is totally true) was: “Meyer always seems to invent girls that have more than one man chasing after them; Melanie/Wanda had Jared and Ian, and Bella has Edward, Mike Newton, Eric whatsit..” xD She also said that “the only characters I seem to understand are the Blacks, the bloke in the wheelchair and his son.” As you can tell, that kinda made me go all silly and start pointing frantically at New Moon mouthing “JACOB! JACOB! JACOB!” Oh dear. xD

But yeah she basically said that Meyer’s characters weren’t described in enough detail. Like, they were underdeveloped, and she had problems relating to them or finding redeeming qualities. She never knew who was Emmett and who was Jasper, and obviously she couldn’t see why the hell this Bella girl was so special. Sadly I agree with most of the things she said to me (however I know Jasper and Emmett apart.. they’re so cute) but I still can’t describe my love for this book. Just reading one page makes me go all funny!

I was quite fed up with the fact that I’ll have to wait a whole year to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince though. The date’s been moved from November to July next year, I think due to the writing strike? Dunno for sure. But Twilight’s meant to be out in November now, but there still isn’t a release date for the UK which is annoying.

Meh, enough of Twilight. I get so carried away. =’] (the name ‘Cullen’ was mentioned in the book I was reading. I feel like such a fangirl, man. Help me.)

Rachael at CalmBanana.co.uk mentioned the site faceyourmanga.com. Well, I had a go, and this is what turned out:

It’s pretty close, actually. The hair ain’t exact, but it’s the best I could get it. What you all think?
